Pastor Rev. Jeffrey Knight

Pastor Knight has served faithfully in Christian education and ministry for over two decades. From 1994–2011, he was Director of Christian Education at Liberty Temple Baptist Church in Detroit, overseeing Church School, Teacher and Leadership Training, Vacation Bible School, New Members Orientation, and other educational initiatives.

He also led the Honor Guest Ministry, providing meals and encouragement to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Metropolitan Detroit area. As a clinician and educator, Pastor Knight has conducted workshops on Evangelism and Christian Education throughout Detroit-area churches. He taught Baptist History and Church Organization for Christian Education through the Metropolitan Congress of Christian Education and later taught Introduction to the New Testament at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

From 1998–2010, Pastor Knight served as Chaplain for the University of Michigan Football Team. His community service includes prison ministry at Ryan Correctional Facility and mentoring young men in juvenile detention through the Metropolitan BOLL YMCA. He also recruited youth and young adults for YMCA leadership development programs.

Pastor Knight currently serves as a Paraeducator in the Berkley School System and is the Senior Pastor of The United Open Door of Hope Church in Southfield, Michigan. He is married to Dr. Laurrie Ann Murphy, a Medical Consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield, and they are the proud parents of two sons, Jeffrey B.E. Knight and William Andrew Knight.

Pastor Robert Williams III

Pastor Williams is a Licensed and Ordained Minister of the Gospel and holds Credentialed Certification from the International Association of Chaplains. He also graduated from Start Church University as a Certified Executive Pastor and Chief Compliance Officer. In 2012, he co-founded The United Open Door of Hope Church, where he serves as Executive Pastor, overseeing administrative operations, outreach initiatives, member care, and youth and young adult ministries.

He previously served as an Associate Minister at Liberty Temple Baptist Church, where over 17 years he held leadership roles including Director of Evangelism and Worship, Christian Education Director, Bible Study Teacher, Youth Pastor, and Prison Outreach Ministry leader.

In 2008, Pastor Williams founded RevRob Ministries, a global outreach ministry focused on meeting practical needs while promoting spiritual restoration, education, and empowerment. His humanitarian leadership includes organizing large-scale relief efforts providing water to communities in California and Michigan, including uniting more than 140 churches to serve the residents of Flint.

A passionate advocate for literacy and education, Pastor Williams is the Founder, President, and CEO of U Will Read, LLC., and the creator of the U READ U SUCCEED campaign. Through this initiative, he has awarded scholarships to assist college students with book expenses across the country.

Known as “RevRob,” he is a dynamic motivational speaker sharing messages of hope, leadership, accountability, and success nationally and internationally. He is a devoted family man, married for 25 years to his wife Jeanette. Together they have two children, Robert A. and Tayler J., and four grandchildren—Tayler A., Autumn Dawn, Aiden and Camden
